What a great idea.

I think you should watch an Act (1 or 4) from Spike Lee's "When the Levees Broke" to give perspective to the New Orleans stop. Then I would say "Crash" to give context to L.A.

The most important will be National Lampoons Family Vacation or Little Miss Sunshine to get you ready for your bus road trip.

Amy and I are disappointed you're not coming through Chicago- August in the north is the best time of year- you guys are going to slowly burn away spending all the time in the south.

Hands on A Hard Body: a documentary about a contest to win a new pick-up truck in Longview, TX. It's crazy and hilareous and a perfect picture of smalltown TX.

Definitely "Vacation". Remember, if you get lost while driving in St. Louis, just go all the way down about half a block, and find the Gran Torino with no wheels on it. Tell the guy sleeping inside that you're my boy and that you're lost, and he'll make sure you get to where you're going.
